Rudd vs North Jefferson 3/29/2011
The Rudd Indians had a phenomenal night winning a road game at North Jefferson 3-2 in 8 innings. Both teams played really well but the Indians were not to be denied. The 2nd game ended in a 2-2 tie after 5 innings.

Rudd vs North Jefferson 3/24/2011
Well the Rudd Indians bounced back with a great 14-4 victory over the North Jefferson Blue Devils on Thursday night.
The second game was filled with excitement as NJ was able to make a good defensive play on the final play to prevent a tieing run from scoring. NJ won 2nd game 13-12.
Rudd has a game on Saturday March 26 @ 1:30 against the Clay Chalkville Cougars.

Rudd vd Pleasant Grove
Well it wasn't a positive night for the Indians. We lost 6-4 and 10-8.
It was good to see some old friends from PG and they have a very good team.

Rudd vs Corner 3/7/2011
WOW WHAT AN EXCITING GAME !!!
We were suppose to play two 5 inning games.
Well we played 10 innings but it was just ONE game.
Rudd wins 4-3 in the bottom of the 10th inning.
Way to go INDIANS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rudd Baseball followed up the pre-season tournament with a great first week of regular season games.
Tuesday they beat Clay Chalkville 10-0. Thursday they beat Irondale in a double header 19-5 and 18-1. Friday they beat Bragg 2-0 and then had a 0-0 draw after 5 innings in the 2nd game of the double header.
Overall record is 9-2-1.

2011 Rudd Baseball preseason Tournament
The 2011 Rudd Baseball 8th grade team started the year out with a great 2nd place finish in the Rudd Preseason Tournament. Rudd posted wins against Irondale, Hayden, Hueytown, North Jefferson, and Huffman. They lost the championship game 2-0 to Bragg. Way to go Indians !!!!
